Abstract:
Sahand will be discussing the science behind making investments. We will discuss how to make a return on investment and generate alpha, and what Quants focus on in our industry.
Students will have a better understanding of how to apply their similar backgrounds in Quantitative Finance and the interesting work that exists in our industry.
Bio:
Sahand Rabbani earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University in April 2008. In 2007, Sahand spent his summer working at Citadel with the StatArb team. After graduation, Sahand joined Citadel full time. He is currently a Senior Quantitative Researcher who leads a team in the Equity Market Making group.
