Abstract: Yanbing Li will share her insight on how VMware drives innovations and disruptions in the mobile-cloud era, across cloud infrastructure, business mobility and virtualization. She will also share her personal career journey and learnings from her time at VMware and her experience working in a variety of roles at both the company headquarters and in China.

Bio: Yanbing Li is the Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Storage and Availability Business Unit (SABU) at VMware. She is responsible for product development, engineering, and the go to market success of this high growth business at VMware. During her 8 years tenure with VMware, Yanbing held multiple executive leadership roles, including General Manager for vCloud Air Storage, VP of Engineering for Storage and Availability, VP of Central Engineering, VP of Continuing Product Development, VP of Global R&D Sites, and Managing Director of China R&D. Prior to VMware, Yanbing worked at Synopsys (a leading Electronic Design Automation software maker) for 9 years in various research, development, and engineering leadership roles. Yanbing holds a PhD. degree from Princeton University, a Master's degree from Cornell University, and a BS degree from Tsinghua University (Beijing) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Recently, she attended the Stanford Executive Program from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2014.
