Title: A tale of two locales
Abstract: Hong Kong, a paradise for shoppers and foodies, also a challenging destination for Yelp because of its complicated culture background. Come learn how we tackled some of the technical challenges Yelp had when launching in Hong Kong!
BIO: Graduated from University of Waterloo, joined Yelp as a backend engineer and currently engineering manager on internationalization. When she's not busy internationalizing Yelp, she likes staring at pictures of food on the internet or taking impulsive trips across the oceans.

Jake Bograd-Denton - Associate Product Manager
Title: Can Yelp Do for Hospitals What It's Done for Restaurants?
Abstract: Learn about Yelp's partnership with ProPublica, a Pulitzer Prize winning organization. I'll be talking about Product at Yelp, and how an Associate Product Manager came to lead Yelp's healthcare display projects. Featured on Vox, The Washington Post, Wired and more, Yelp's work with ProPublica is changing how people search for their hospitals.
BIO: Graduating from MIT in 2014, Jake was the first member of Yelp's APM Program. He currently works on features to build Yelp's community, as well as leading Yelp's data quality team.
